In partnership with Vice & JBL we sat these two legends down to get to know a side of them not always shown in the media. It was a joy to edit and the campaign was a major success with the media reaching over 2 million people worldwide.

Rakuten’s Docu-Series: Flash Forward takes a deep dive into advances in physics, bio-engineering & space exploration that will significantly impact our world as we know it. I was lucky enough to be involved in helping edit, tailoring graphics and onlining all the episodes in this series.
The Nail Salon | Vice InterviewQueer street football legend Rocky gets her nails done as the audience gets to know a deeper side to the otherwise bubbly Dutch celebrity. I used mixed media to help differentiate it from standard interviews.
AftermovieChantal & Grant over at Vortex South Africa have been carrying the torch of the psychedelic trance scene for the last 26 years. Despite growing popularity, the essence of Vortex hasn’t changed. Together with a small crew I was asked to capture the magic of their winter solstice event where countless trance-lovers dance through the longest night of the year. The embers at the start of production grew into a bonfire when the after-movie was released, reaching 35 thousand views (7x the number of people who visited the festival).
CommercialWith the help of kid actors and instructors; Martyn and Nadia, this commercial marked the launch of a fast grwoing kids surf camp. The commercial has since been used on facebook to connect the kids camp with new customers.
CommercialThe South African based surf company ‘Surfends’ is built on sharing their love for nature, human connection and surfing with people from all over. The experiences Surfends creates for its customers are worth sharing. In 3 min the video above was created with the aim of encapsulating the ‘essence’ of Surfends and connecting the brand with a wider audience. Surfends has now become one of the fastest growing surf companies along the garden route.
AftermovieLive music performances, Q&A’s with artists and international music documentaries. All can be found at the annual In-Edit festival. I was asked to create an after-movie showcasing the theme ‘Shine you crazy diamonds’. This after movie is dedicated to the artists that make our lives richer. The misfits, the crazy ones, the rebels and those that challenge the status quo.
